About Omaha Flute Fest

Hosted by the Omaha Flute Institute, the 2025 Omaha Flute Fest event is an exciting two-day experience for flutists 6th-12th grade that focuses on flute foundations and additional musical topics like music theory, stage presence, Dalcroze & movement, and composition. Omaha Flute Fest participants will showcase their musical talents and creativity for friends and family in a final celebration concert featuring music for flute choir. 

 

This event is taught by Madison Booth, professional flutist and founder of the Omaha Flute Institute. Madison has been teaching flute and music for ten years in individual lessons and classroom settings. She holds a master's in Flute Performance and Literature and two bachelor's in Music Education and Flute Performance. 

 

When: February 7, 2025 @ 5 - 8 pm through February 8, 2025 @ 10 am - 3 pm

 

Where: First United Methodist Church, 7020 Cass St Omaha, Nebraska 68132

 

Who: Flutists with at least two years of playing experience in grades 6th-12th

 

Cost: $10 paid via check or Online Payment Link​
